We have always loved The Purple Spoon cafe, and so chose them as the caterers for our wedding in Bridgwater in July. They catered perfectly for vegetarians and vegans, with a vegan paella for the day meal (with fish and meat add-ons for those who wanted it!) and a vegetarian buffet for the evening. The service was warm, friendly, and joyful. Everything was done efficiently and the food was delicious. We couldn’t fault The Purple Spoon at all. They went above and beyond, especially to help with providing crockery for family-made desserts... and even helped with serving them!! Thank you for such a wonderful catering team and food on our special day! from The Rose-Moores x

Excellent food, great coffee and really good service, the staff were all lovely and the whole Place is just great. I would recommend the halloumi wrap & the big breakfast looked pretty good too. They serve a good selection of home made cakes & has both indoor and outdoor seating.

I went here with my sister, we have very different diet preferences, this do not stop the staff in the mission to fully satisfy our appetite. The place was charming and spacious, the food was reasonably priced and ample menu options for the most ravenous families. Paris and India (staff) made our experience truly brilliant. We can't thank them enough. We will be back again soon.

We visited on a very busy Friday lunchtime as a stop for our journey to Devon. Free car park & a dog friendly cafe which was good for us. Good selection on the menu. The grandchildren just had to go for the pancakes

Visiting from Wales. Lovely place, great atmosphere, and the staff were fantastic. I had the posh fish finger sandwich, which was lush

Lovely, lively cafe nestled inside the YMCA. Great big, fat sandwiches and toasties on offer, as well as gorgeous coffee, cakes and pastries. Bear in mind that this cafe gets extremely busy as it is situated in a popular area right next to the canal and we were advised to book ahead during our training course. The decor was cute, bright and open, and the staff were lovely and seemed very much on top of things despite being packed

Wonderful lunch today at Purple Spoon Cafe. Dog friendly - even had a doggy menu! Vegan options available! Very friendly service and wonderful food. Disability friendly, as lots of room around the tables and no steps to enter.

Another great visit to the Purple Spoon. Service was great and the food was quick. I had the burrito from the specials menu and was not disappointed. I couldn’t resist getting a slice of Victoria sponge cake, which was out of this world and a generous slice. The one thing to bear I mind is they dont take tips on card. Well worth a visit!
